Hi, I’m Tanuja Carson.

I am a Christian counsellor with a background in cross-cultural work, having lived in Southeast Asia as an adult for 21 years. I grew up in the island nation of Sri Lanka and migrated to Australia with my parents. After a friend commented on my particular gift in helping people in one-on-one ministry, I started focusing on this type of ministry as I moved through various stages of my life and started honing these skills through training in counselling and pastoral work. I have been married for 31 years and am a mother, mother-in-law and a grandmother. I love helping women flourish and offer a safe space for them to share struggles, explore their feelings, and guide them to a place of empowerment and confidence in who they are as persons.

  • Each session lasts for 50 minutes.

  • What is shared is kept confidential, except in certain mandatory situations such as the case of possible harm to self or someone else. There are rare situations where client notes could be subpoenaed by a court. I will also need to discuss complex matters with my supervisor from time to time in order to serve your needs better, and in these situations, your identity will be kept private.

  • You can reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours before, and if you need to cancel an appointment, you need to do so at least 24 hours before for a full refund.
